Inside The Deck House Wye River
The finished property brings the experience of coastal living into every part of a stay. Floor-to-ceiling glazing frames the ocean and surrounding bushland, while the open-plan interior creates an easy connection between relaxing indoors and stepping outside into the sea air. Designed for two, it feels intimate, comfortable and beautifully connected to its surroundings.
The deck is the centrepiece. Generous timber steps lead to a sunken outdoor sitting area, with glass balustrades allowing uninterrupted views across the beach, rocky shoreline and bay. It is a place for slow mornings over coffee, long afternoons watching the waves and quiet evenings together as the light changes over the water.
Inside, a freestanding ocean-view bath adds a touch of indulgence, while a wood-burning fireplace makes the retreat equally inviting through the cooler months. A well-appointed kitchenette, contemporary ensuite and comfortable living spaces complete a stay centred on relaxation. A private walking track leads towards the beach, bringing the coastline even closer.
