A period style Home Renovation in Reservoir
We completely guttered and refurbished all aspects of this period style home internally and externally.
In the front we began new double hung windows, new weatherboard, a custom design on the smaller and larger gables, complete with tiers, strapping and panelling, corbels and fret work, ornate door and turned posts.
We also replaced all of the floor in the whole house with new Jarrah 19mm floor boards which were sanded and polished in high gloss.
All of the wood work inside of the home were replaced to suit the period theme. Double hung windows, panelled doors with ornate handles and hinges, large period style skirting and architraves.
The plaster work was completely transformed to a custom job rarely seen. From the entry approximately 1 meter up the walls we installed plaster panelling, a thick ornate arch way, large period cornice and very detailed chandelier plaster panels.
In all of the rooms we re-painted all of the walls, ceilings, and wood work including doors, windows, skirting and architraves.
Externally we painted all of the double hung windows, the weatherboard, the smaller and larger gables, all of the different tiers, strapping and panelling, corbels and fret work, ornate doors and turned posts.
We removed all of the old lights, switches and power points. We replaced with new period style chandeliers and light fittings, switches and power points on timber boards.
